This year has not been short when it comes to surprises and the year of the Dragon has certainly proved that this year is about highlighting the strength of communities. In celebration of this month’s AAPI Heritage Month, McDonald’s wants to give the community a chance to showcase some of its talents.
Open to all Chicago Based Artists, come and join the Year of the Dragon Art Contest!
We’re excited to invite young artists from the Chicago Metropolitan area to submit their original artwork that is inspired by the theme “Year of the Dragon” by Friday, June 7, 2024, at 5:00PM (EXTENDED UNTIL JUNE 14, 2024).
This collaboration aims to engage with the Asian American Youth in Chicago through creativity and expression. Take note that ALL submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges, and the winning design will be featured on our social media channels and printed on custom tote bags which will be distributed at various events this summer including the Chinatown Summer Fair. Three winners will be selected, each receiving a $250 gift card and a McDonald’s prize box.
Don't miss this opportunity to showcase your talent and celebrate AAHNPI heritage!
