f I haven’t spoken of my darling roommate Elin, I will now. Ms. Yun, Originally from Shang-Hai and has the tastebuds of a humble catfish (Google that), knows how to take over and order for the group. The Chef only brings out the best for Elin as the servers recognize she doesn’t fool around when it comes to getting authentic and eating quality.

Two Brids One Stone…

Opened back in November 2015, and Elin, the adventurer that she is noticed it was a Hot Pot place and decided to put it in her list of all hot pot places she’s tried in Chicago. This immediately became her favorite. Unlike most places in Chicago, In TBOS you get your own individual gold hot pot and they have more than just the standard two broths to choose from (They have Five).

HOT POT…

Quick segue, for those of you who are still curious as to what the Hot Pot Meal is, it refers to several East Asian varieties of stew, consisting of a simmering metal pot of stock at the center of the dining table. While the hot pot is kept simmering, ingredients are placed into the pot and are cooked at the table. Thank you Wikipedia.
