Skokie, Ill. -- Skokie’s Oakton Park on May 19-20 will hold its 28th Annual Skokie Festival of Cultures from 11 a.m. to 7 pm at 4701 Oakton St.  The Philippines will be represented along with 22 other countries during its Opening Ceremony on Saturday, May 19 from 1:05-2PM at the outside  stage. A cultural performance by the Filipino Kali Eskrima Academy is on Sat., May 19, inside Stage, from 3:10-3:35 P.M. There will be ethnic folk music and dance, food, arts and crafts, a merchandise marketplace, and children’s activities, including a free First Bank & Trust train ride for children from 2-6 PM.  or visit www.SkokieCultureFest.org.
