Join Asian Pop-Up Cinema at the Alliance Française de Chicago for the U.S. Premiere of the film RU, based on Kim Thuy's award-winning novel.

Leading actor, Vietnamese Canadian actor Jean Bui, playing the father of Ru, is scheduled to appear to introduce the film and participate in a post-film Q&A with the audience.

A post-film Wine & Cheese Reception will take place a the gallery, hosted by AF/Canadian QC office.

Ticketing Note: For free screening ticket holders, seats on the day of the screening are subject to availability on a first-come, first-serve basis. Seats can be guaranteed with a suggested donation of $5 or more. Any guaranteed seats unclaimed 15 minutes prior to showtime will be released.
