Pacifica Square’s Moon Festival is an annual celebration of family, culture, and community inspired by the Mid-Autumn Festival traditions of East and Southeast Asia. Since launching in 2020, the event has brought together the community through cultural performances, festive decorations, local vendors, interactive activities, cosplay competitions, ramen challenges, and more. With 50+ vendors and over 1,500 attendees, the Moon Festival is a vibrant evening celebrating heritage, creativity, and connection.

The Moon Festival, or Mid-Autumn Festival, is a cherished celebration of family, unity, and gratitude observed across East and Southeast Asia. In September of each year, people gather to admire the full moon, enjoy mooncakes, and share traditions that symbolize reunion and good fortune. Pacifica Square began Aurora’s Moon Festival in 2020, blending tradition with modern fun, for the community featuring cultural decorations and performances, and displays, and interactive activities like the Annual RamenRace.com, cosplay competitions with Vitamin D. Cosplay, and a special outdoor laser tag arena from Chasers Laser Tag. With 50+ vendors and 1,500+ attendees, it’s a night of heritage, creativity, and community celebration.
