We will hold a moment of silence in honor of the lives of transgender people worldwide. This will be followed by a discussion on the case of Jennifer Laude, a trans Filipina woman killed by a US marine in 2014, as well as the ongoing fight to attain justice. We will reckon with the question: how do imperialist policies intersect with gender, violence, and transphobia?
