Join JACL Chicago for a dynamic talk with authors, Laura Atkins and Stan Yogi, as they share about their award-winning book, created for upper elementary and middle school students, about Fred Korematsu's story and how he came to challenge Japanese American incarceration during WWII.
They will make connections between this story and importance of speaking up, especially in response to present day civil liberties issues.
Event is FREE. All ages are welcome!
