Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders often face bias and discrimination in the workplace, at the polls, in neighborhoods, in schools, and within the political process. While often being perceived as the “perpetual foreigner,” many AA and NHPIs are often also targeted for their actual or perceived race, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or immigration status.
