Filipino migrant worker April must return home to her critically ill mother, but the only way she can do so is by bringing along the elderly Taiwanese man she cares for. When his son returns from prison to an empty house, their lives intersect in unexpected ways.

A follow-up to Port of Lies, the film balances themes of elderly care, migrant labor, and rehabilitation with warmth and humor, ultimately becoming a moving reflection on roots, displacement, and homecoming.
