Event Date: Wednesday, January 29 · 6 - 8pm CST. Doors at 5:30pm

This is DePaul's 17th annual celebration of Lunar New Year. All DePaul students, faculty, staff, alumni, families and friends are welcome to join the community to ring in the new year of the Snake. The 2025 event will feature buffet dinner and cultural performances. Free and open to the public. RSVP is required.

Please wear something red to join the fun and for nice photos. If you were born in a year of the Snake (2013, 2001, 1989, 1977, 1965, and 1953, etc), please show your ID and submit your name to our check-in staff upon check-in. We will randomly pick 10 guests and give you a Year of the Snake souvenir after the cultural performances.

Parking:
If you are a community member, please note that all vistors can park their vehicle in Clifton Parking Deck located at 2330 N. Clifton, Chicago, IL 60614. The DePaul rate will be given if a validated ticket is presented to the attendant. Parking validation machines are located throughout campus including Student Center 1st floor, SAC, Theatre School and Richardson Library.
