Cambodian New Year Celebration Events

We invite you to join the following Cambodian New Year Celebration Events:

Watt Khemararam. The old temple (Des Plaines, IL) will not be holding a public event. However, individuals/families can attend on their own time.

Watt Khmer Metta. The new temple (Chicago, IL) will celebrate during the weekend of 23-25 but only for offerings drop-off or brief visits.

The National Cambodian American Heritage Museum will host a virtual Day of Remembrance on April 17, 2021 at 4pm.

The museum will be part of the new year program early that day with Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association - Lowell (CMAA) on April 17, 2021 at 1pm. CMAA will also be hosting a ceremony to welcome the New Year Angel on April 14, 2021 at 3:30pm.

Lastly, Cambodia Town in Long Beach is hosting for the second time a free online celebration! Last year was amazing. We’re looking forward to what’s in store this year.
