Join us for an intimate and engaging Vietnamese coffee workshop, in collaboration with local Vietnamese-owned coffee shop VietFive!
In this 1.5 hour hands-on experience, participants will:
- learn to prepare Vietnamese coffee using the traditional phin filter brewing method from VietFive owner and founder Tuan Huynh
- taste their creation alongside delicious bánh patê sô (pâté chaud), a Vietnamese savory puff pastry
- explore cà phê đá’s history and cultural significance, including its French connection
Doors open at 10:00 a.m.for a complimentary welcome tasting portion of coffee. Workshop starts at 10:30. Please enter via 54 W Chicago Ave.
