Breaking Down the Sacred Wall

Aditya Prakash is an award-winning vocalist known for his powerful emotive voice and a virtuoso of Carnatic music, the traditional classical style of South India. He is a native of Los Angeles hailing from a family richly immersed in South Indian arts and culture, Aditya’s intensive musical studies began in childhood. Aditya has now combined his Carnatic roots with his American musical experience to create something new. This will be the first live performance with this ensemble prior to a new album to be released this fall. The performance will be at the International House on the University of Chicago campus on May 1st 2022. Tickets are available now!

Doors open at 5 PM, concert begins at 6 PM.

Tickets for the performance plus a reception with drinks and Indian food are $125. Those with reception tickets will be seated at 10 person tables on the main floor and will also receive a dessert reception after the show where they will have the opportunity to meet with the musicians. Gallery tickets with balcony seating for the show only are available for $35.
