Asian Fashion Show Chicago 2023

Asian Fashion Show Chicago 2023 brings together 8 designers and over 30 models, all of AAPI heritage, for an annual fashion show on October 21, 1pm (doors open at 12:15) at Truman College.

It’s Halloween themed, so make sure to wear your costume! And we’re bringing our Barbie Box for photo ops!

Free parking in the garage on campus!

Who We Are...

AAPIs are not well-represented in the mainstream fashion industry, from print ads to commercials, to runways. We're shifting the status quo.

We're a fashion show that promotes AAPIs in the fashion industry. Our show consists of 100% AAPI designers and 100% AAPI models.

But we are more than just a fashion show. We are a space where AAPI faces can be recognized and celebrated. Our models and designers represent the diversity of the AAPI community in background, ethnicity, body type, height, skintone, and more. Our show is a place for our community to celebrate, to make a statement, to heal, and to take space. We will be heard and our creativity will be expressed. We are proud to be AAPIs in fashion.

We’re operated by 501c3 non-profit Chicago Asian Women Empowerment and our mission is to Empower AAPI women, Amplify their voices, and Build a better community.
