Asian American Heritage Month Kickoff & Business Expo 2026

Join Chicago’s Pan Asian American community for the Asian American Heritage Month Kickoff & Business Expo on May 1, 2026.

The Asian American Heritage Month Kickoff will feature cultural performances and a program highlighting local celebrations and events taking place throughout the month.

Following the Kickoff, the AACCIL Business Expo will spotlight the Asian American legal community, bringing together law firms, bar associations, legal clinics, and other legal and business resources serving entrepreneurs across industries. With recent changes affecting the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program, members of the Illinois Unified Certification Program (IL UCP) will also be invited so businesses can connect directly with certifying agencies and receive guidance on MBE/DBE certification and renewal applications.

Lunch will be provided by food vendors from Asian American-owned restaurants, integrated throughout the Expo.

This event convenes legal professionals, business resources, and entrepreneurs across industries for connection and collaboration.
