The Legal Clinic, staffed by KABA in partnership with the HANA Center, directly serves Korean Americans and other community members of Chicagoland. The Legal Clinic offers a limited scope initial consultation designed to advise and direct clients regarding their legal matters.

We have served thousands of individuals during the past 20 years. KABA volunteer attorneys consult and advise a number of clients on various issues, including immigration, real estate, family law, bankruptcy, criminal law and general litigation matters. The Legal Clinic is grateful for any attorneys from any practice area who wish to volunteer their time. Knowledge of the Korean language is not necessary to volunteer.

If you have questions or would like to volunteer, please email us at kabachicago@gmail.com.

Date and Time: May 4 and May 16 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Location: For the safety of our volunteers and the community, the Legal Clinic will be held in a virtual format until the end of the COVID pandemic. Under normal circumstances, the Legal Clinic is held at the HANA Center’s offices in Chicago and Prospect Heights, Illinois.
