Event Date: May 14, 2025 (4:00PM – 5:00PM)

Hula is the art of Hawaiian dance that expresses all we see, hear, taste, touch and feel. In essence, hula is life. Through dance we tell stories about Hawaiian history and culture and especially nature and our relationship to her. We’ll demonstrate different dances including the use of instruments such as the Ipu-heke (double headed gourd), ili ili (river rocks), Puili (bamboo rattle), and Uli Uli (feather gourd) and then have time for group participation.

This program is presented by Zen Life & Meditation Center.

For all ages.
