The Democratic National Convention is held every 4 years, and this year it is held in Chicago, IL and the 7th District of Chicago, which is Congressman Danny K. Davis' district. The Asian American community is very vibrant and supportive of democratic principles and ideas. This is an opportunity for Congressman Danny K. Davis, Democratic Caucus Chair Ted Lieu, and Alderperon Nicole Lee, the first Asian American in Chicago's City Council to salute the Asian American community during this important national event.
