A Salute to Veterans in the Legal Profession

The Decalogue Society of Lawyers is very excited and honored to host, “A Salute to Veterans in the Legal Profession,” on May 24, 2023, at 5:30 pm, at Theater on the Lake, 2401 N Lake Shore Dr, Chicago, IL 60614. We have had great success in building a coalition of over thirty affinity bar associations as co-hosts of this wonderful event. The purpose of this event is to recognize and honor the service and sacrifice of Veterans in all branches of the U.S. Military who, in addition to their service to this country, have also dedicated their careers to the legal profession as judges, lawyers, paralegals, law students, and legal administrative staff. The program incorporates speakers from various branches of the armed services. We will also incorporate and honor Jewish American Heritage Month and Asian American Heritage Month during the program. Food will be provided. As an added bonus, we have reserved the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Mobile Museum of Tolerance, as a symbol and reminder of the atrocities that can result in the absence of preserving the pillars of the legal system and defending liberty and freedom. This is the first large collaborative event of multiple bar associations to honor Veterans in the legal profession. We look forward to honoring and celebrating our Veterans with you!
